Christ Card of the Week~ 29/05/2013



Hello Again Readers,This week i will discuss new cards from 3rd Booster..
My Thoughts for 3rd Booster is Giant Oriented Deck will be Strong and fun to play, Wind and Fire is the best Elements at 3rd Booster in my Opinion so many cards that can be utilize with new cards from both elements.
and without Delay, the Card of the Week is..





For The Abilities
<Enter> Reveal the top card of your magic stone deck, and place it in your magic stone area in rest state
<Break> Reveal the top card of your magic stone deck, and place it in your magic stone area in rest state

The Pros:
+  You can get magic stone more faster than your Opponents
+  Friendly Will Cost *Only 1 Wind 2 Other make this card Splashable to Multi Elements Decks*
+  Not useless after using the abilities *Still can Block Opponent Resonator*
+  Great Artwork
The Cons
- The Magic Stone will come in rest State
- Low Status 200/200 for 3 will cost


Beast !!! In my opinion this card is the Most Valuable Cards in 3rd Booster, with this card Multi Elements Deck will be more Stable,and can u even imagine if this card splash with Light elements? 1st Turn Wandering Knights, and then this card can Easily Summoned at 2nd Turn with 2 difference Magic Stone with your Opponent? not only that this card can be use with Wisdom of Summoning which Bring Lew from deck with <Enter> abilities Triggers which bring you more magic stone Adventage..
So the Conclusion is...
I must Have this Card 4 copies !!! LOL~
This card is very useful in many ways , it's up to you guys think how to utilize it..

Deck of the Month!!

Hello to all readers and fellow FoW Players!
Here i am again, JoeyJY,
and i will be your host today.

i already stated, that there will be another featured posts coming soon.
and here it is, without further ado

DECK OF THE MONTH

This featured post is really simple,
Me and Christian, will pick 1 deck from all players that we know.
We will post the decklist, the Magicstone Decklist, 
The combos, the winning conditions, 
The weakness, the Potentials,
and many more possible factors.

Anddd today, this month, and the VERY FIRST's Deck will be..

Now, let's see the list.

The ruler is Enforcer of Sorrow,

Judgement Condition : You control 4 or more Resonators

<Condition> 1Darkness, {Rest} : Choose a random card from target opponent Player's Hand. Discard that card.

So the deck doesn't really need a specific Ruler to make combos, 
So that almost all ruler will fit in here. 
But Enforcer of Sorrow fits the best here.

There aren't very much specific combos, 
The point is just summon many Little-costed Resonators, 
And Judgement- The Enforcer of Sorrow to lead the game.

The one and only spesific combo (in my opinion) is Lion Knight Yvain.






















Lion Knight, Yvain
Cost : 2Light 1Other

Effect : 
<Condition> 2Light : Search your deck for [Sleeping Lion], Summon it onto the Field, Shuffle your Main Deck.
<Condition> 2Light, 3Other : Search your Main Deck for a [Lion] with cost 6 or less, Summon it onto the Field. Shuffle your Main Deck

The targets of Yvain's Lion call are more than one in this deck.
You can call Pouncing Lion, Proud Lion, or Sleeping Lion,




As long as you have the will to do so.
And just note that you can use Yvain's effect on enemy's turn too, 
as long as you have the will.

Let's move on to Healer.



Healer
Cost : 1Light, 1Other

<Enter> You gain 500 Life Points.
<Break> You gain 500 Life Points.


Felix mains 4 Healer in this deck. Why?



In my opinion, 

One of the best winning condition deck is the deck that mainly uses cards that directly inflict damages to the players.
just like Flame lance, Asakuna Suicide Bomber, And many other.

So, main a healer is perfectly a good choice.
Let's see into this resonator's detail.
The Casting cost is 1Light and 1Other.
While it has 400 power and 400 life, 
that is a common status to a cost-2 resonators

It has another effects.
that is
<Enter> Gain 500 Life Points
and
<Break> Gain 500 Life Points

You can already heal 2000 damages if you got all the 4 cards from your deck,
whether by its <Enter> effect or <Break> effect. 
and this should prevents quite a massive amount of damage from Inflicting damage cards.
And a fire aggro deck, too..


Now let's move on to the Spells.
Felix only runs 4 Disarmament. Why?






















Disarmament
Cost : 1Light, 1Other

<Effect> Destroy target Addition
<Break> Destroy target Addition




Again, this deck mainly swarms with small Resonators, 
And utilize Enforcer of Sorrow's Judgement side.
So having only a few spells that take care what this deck is weak to is very useful.
And Disarmament, can destroy many things that makes this deck uncomfortable. such as : 
Adition : Resonator (Such as Sacred Sword AronditeMutation Medicine ~FlightCorpse Pact, etc)
Red Moon (Mostly in Loki-Redmoon deck)
Addition : Fields (Such as Uplifting WindSanctuary of the World TreeElven Woodland, etc)
And many more.

This deck is easily beating decks that needs preparation, such as Light and Wind decks, 
But is weak against control decks, such as Water and Control Wind decks, 
with many annoying control spells, and big-life-resonators, 
because this deck can deal damage at a very maximum of 1000, 
so anything more than that would be very disadavantageous

So, i'm done with the specifications, now let's move on to the last part

The Pros : 
+ very, very, VERY quick deck, (i would say it rank 2-3 after the Fire Aggro deck with Ushua/Kabuki/Warlord of Explosive Flames)
+ Quite stable deck with only 1 color, 
+ Immune to casted-Death Kiss
+ Will never have empty Field (Unless after the Anubis' judgement)
+ Doesn't really need much Magicstones, maybe just 5-6 will do
+ Low-Costed deck $$$
+ Newbie Friendly deck, quite autopilot
+ Doesn't need many specific cards for combo
+ Can quite handle Inflicting damages decks
+ Can use Breaks properly

The Cons :
- Only have 1 Resonator-Destroyer (Enforcer of Sorrow)
- Weak to High-Lifed-Resonators
- Weak to some cards that inflicts damages globally (Until Death Do Us Part, Black Magician, Loki)
- Weak against flying resonators
- Very weak against Specific Element Destroyer (Exploding Stag Beetle)
- Weak against Preempetive Strike cards
- Probably will be boring after some weeks of playing
- Lack of combos (If you shut Yvain's Combo, probably there is no other combo)

And lastly, This deck is quite low costed, so New players will be able to build this deck, 
and the Playstyle is quite easy. 
But be careful with some cards that will burn all your cards to nothing!

JoeyJY's 250513 Card of the Week!!

Hello to all readers, and fellow FoW players.
it's me again JoeyJY
and today i'm going to bring you my featured card of the week!

This week's Featured card is this card























Alliance Army

Spell : Standby
Cost : 2Light

<Activation Condition> Anytime : Until the end of turn, target Resonator or J-Ruler gains [+0/+1000]
<Break> Until the end of turn, target Resonator or J-Ruler gains [+0/+1000]

Pros :
+ This card does good to protect a good Resonator, or J-Ruler that need to be handled by opponent
+ Your opponent won't know if you main this card, since not many people are using it.
+ Got the break effect, and
+ Works well in mono Light deck

Cons :
- Can't really work if you don't have ready Resonator/J-Ruler
- Needed cost is 2Light, so quite hard to put in Multi Element deck.
- Is a Spell : Standby cards, will do better if it was Spell : Instant
- The artwork isn't really my style.

Christ Card of the Week~ 23/05/2013

Hi All Readers, Christian is here again as you all know today is time for my Card of the Week,
This Week is 

Windcalling Flower



For the Abilities
<Continuous>This Card Cannot Attack

<Continuous>When a Card is Played,Interrupt it,then destroy this card. this ability will always active when a card played.

<Break> Summon this Resonator Onto the Field

The Pros:
+  Can Interrupt Cards so easily..
+  A resonator which can help us for defending too
+  <Break> Ability can mess opponent plan

The Cons
-  The Interrupt ability can backfired to the user if not used Properly
-  Tricky Card to used
-  Poor Status 0/200 for 3 Will Cost


This time like i said is quite difficult to utilize this card properly,it depends on the player strategy and deckbuilding, but if you use this card correctly this card will make your opponent think again for doing something. So use Windcalling Flower Wisely..

it's me again JoeyJY
and today i'm going to bring you my featured card of the week!

This week's Featured Card of my selection is this card.

Spell : Chant
Cost : 1Darkness 1Other

All Players destroy a Resonator they control. You choose first.
<Break> You may destroy a Resonator you control. If you do, destroy target opponent's Resonator

pros :
+ The effect is still valid even if you don't have a resonator
+ The <Break> Effect is better, because YOU got to choose which to destroy, not the opponent.
+ Only use 1 spesific colored Will, so it's quite easygoing in any deck

cons :
- <Break> Effect is useless if you don't have resonator to destroy.
- Not very useful if you have to destroy resonator to activate its effect (in some case)
- It is a Chant, not an Instant

Christ Card of the Week~ 17/05/2013

Hi All Readers, it's me again Christian and today i will give you another card to discuss..
Card of the Week this time is

Longing Knight,Tristan



And now for the Abilities

<Condition> Pay 2 Light,Destroy this card : Destroy Target Resonator in Rest State

The Pros:
+  She is Knight of Round Table so this card will work well with King of Knights,Arthur as Ruler and have tons of Knight of Round Table Support
+  Can be Resonator Removal as well as Resonator that can hit well because she has good status 600/600 and the ability doesn't need to rest her.

The Cons
-  One time use ability only
-  Heavy white cost,with 2 White 1 other cost must be in White Oriented Deck *Not Splashable*

Now it's up to you guys how to use Tristan well it depends on what deck you build, as i personally recommend this card at Knight of Round Table Oriented Deck once again is up to you all..

Pluses and Multiplies

Hello to all reader and fellow FoW players!

It's me again, JoeyJY
and i am here today to bring you to my Idea of Magicstone decks, and how-to's

Firstly, Magicstone is a thing that we can never forget.
It runs your deck.
It does..

So as we know, that Magicstone has different deck than the main deck.
That is Magicstone Deck.
and we also know that Magicstone Deck can contain up to 20 Magicstone cards.

Magicstone cards divided into 5 colors, that is Fire, Water, Wind, Darkness, and Light.

What i will be discussing here is, what combinations should a non-mono-color player bring?
How will it work, and how well will it work?

Firstly, let's try combining a Mono-color.
of course it will be a total of 20 Magicstone cards, that have the same color.
since there is not (yet) the negative effects by getting more cards in Magicstone decks.

Next, we will try combining a multi-color.
What we have to do here, is firstly :
1. Check the ratio of the different colors.
2. Check how many Colored-will needed in every colors.
example is : Mikael has 2Light, while Leviathan has 2water
3. Check whether your deck runs cards that can help producing will.
example is : Holy Site, or Wandering Knight, or anything else.
4. Check whether your Ruler/J-Ruler has different color, and you want to Judgement-ed it.

let's saying i want to run a 2-colors deck.
that is Fire and Light.

Let's assume that my Ruler is this guy here






















Because i think the effect is good, so i will use his Judgement effect later on.
So keep in mind, that you need quite a little more fire magicstones.

next, Let's assume i got 20 Fire and 20 Light Cards in my deck.
and the highest cost is
this guy





















And this girl






















Because both need quite a few specific Color,
so we could assume to put 10 Fire, and 10 Light.
Or 11Fire and 9 Light to make sure you can use Judgement effect on time.

now let's change the condition.
let's say, this is my highest costed resonator























I will change the composition to 15Fire and 5Light,
or 14Fire and 6Light. or even 13Fire and 7Light.

of course, the chance of getting the magicstone is random too,
but what we are trying to calculate here is the percentage,
how many different magicstone will come out from the very top of the deck.

anyway, 2-colored decks is still not too hard to control.
let's see the 3-colored deck.
this is some cards from my deck recipes, which have 3 colors.
that is Darkness, Light, and Wind.

the Ruler is

Since the Judgement requirement doesn't need specific color, it's quite effective in decks which have many colors.

my highest costed Resonators


And the wind card

























In my deck, mostly 70% of it are Darkness cards. the 20% are Light cards, and the remaining 10% are Wind cards.
and i do my composition exactly 10Darkness, 5Light, and 3Wind.

why i don't run 20 full Magicstones card?
Because, almost all the time you need a very specific combination of the Magicstones.
While 11Darkness, 5Light, 3Wind will give bigger chance to draw Darkness from the first, and second turn. because i run some Will-producers in the deck too.
such as wandering knight we mentioned before, and the holy site, the dark pledge, and the tunas.

why would i run more darkness even that i put dark pledges?
again, my deck is 70% Darkness. so producing more darkness will is better than producing any other will.

why dont we put 10Darkness, 6Light, and 4Wind?
because it will lower the chance of getting the darkness on first and second draw.
again, because my deck runs 70% darkness.
And the Light and Wind cards aren't too critical in the deck.

But sometime, there are people that annoy our magicstones combination.
they are using Magicstone destroyer cards such as
the holy MFerBlack Sunheavy rain, and Hopeless Demise
so it's really burn your deck out..
if you have 3 or more colors..
it's just like starting from the start, using 50% of your original Magicstone deck, or even worse.

we have to be considerate if we want to use multicolored decks too.
we should be able to protect our deck from cards like that.

Now this is just an idea,
to open more discussion from our readers.

so Loki Using its 3rd Ability and then Red Moon Ability Triggers, which means Destroy Every Resonators on the field. and with that Combo Agung Defeat his Enemy to gain Victory~

Christ Card of the Week~ 11/05/2013

Hi all Readers, it's me christian again today i will discuss about Card of the Week,as you now JoeyJY and i decided to have 2 Card of the Week each week now without any delay
i present you Labyrinth Master,Chronos




What makes this card so unique is Labyrinth Master,Chronos , is a Ruler without J-Form~

Now for the Ability
Continuous : Pay 0 other,and you may only use this ability once per turn, During the draw phase.Target Player discards the card he/she draw and draws 1 card
Continuous : You may draw 1 more for every draw effect other than compulosry draw during the draw phase. This ability affects all player.
Continuous : When a Resonator returns back to its controller's hand,the controller of that resonator sends the top his/her main deck to graveyard for every card returned

The Pros:
+ This Card Super Good in a Deck that uses Mill as its wincon
+ Extra Draw(Who Doesn't like draw?)
+ 1st Ability Can be combined with 2nd Ability Makes Target player of our choice Draw 2 cards

The Cons
- Can easily Countered with Circle of Disablement
- Doesn't have J-Form which leave us with less option to play
- 2nd Ability Affects all Player, which means enemy can also get the extra draw if he/she have draw effect other than compulsory draw.

So That's my Opinion,the rest is up to you all about how to use Chronos and what card u will included in your deck

*Note: At 3rd Booster Pack Shaft of Light of Valhalla will be a Support card for Chronos can u find it? ^^*

06/05/2013 JoeyJY's Card of the Week!

Hello again to all readers and fello FoW players.

It's me again, JoeyJY and me and Christian will be posting Card of the Week every week.

To think about all my decks, there is 1 card that always comes into my mind
In my opinion, this card is very agile and can be used in every deck, noted that you also put up the magicstone.

Without further ado, let's welcome this week's featured card!!
here it is

Firefloor Drake (even the name is cool already)

<Flying>
<Continuous> This card returns to its owner's Hand at the end of the turn
<Enter> This card can attack on the same turn it was summoned
<Break> Summon this card onto your Field, and this card's <Enter> Ability triggers

the pros : 
- hit and run easily, so that it can't be hit while in rest position
- only 1Fire will needed, it can do well in any decks
- it's a dragon, and can be discounted with Siegfried
- also flying, can't be easily blocked
- all the effects are good, even it has break effect

the cons :
- easily killed by some creature, example is MorriganAsakuna Suicide Soldier, and many more
- not a white creature, so easily killed by Kiss of Death, also many other red spells
- can't be used to block (because of the continuous ability)

Weekly Tournament at Throne Of Games

1st Place is Me using Monochromatic Water Deck(Mermaid Oriented)

So Basically my deck works like this
First of all i summoned plenty of mermaid like Mermaid Apprentice or Mermaid heir of Wisdom,
which make me can draw a lot(draw is never bad :p) and then if the board is quite full with those mermaid i can either use Singing Voice of the Restless Tides for generate water will for me or i can also use Defender of the Deep Blue, Antorite for buff all of my Mermaids and then Beat Enemy to death, and the Ruler i use is Royal Palace Guardian Mage,Freya, for the decklist maybe next time.

Introduction

Hello for all of you who reading this blog,As Joey Stated at the 1st post, me christian as the 2nd author of this blog and it's all the same with Joey i play many TCG like Magic The Gathering ,Cardfight!! Vanguard, and of course Force of Will and now first of all thx for reading our blog. i hope u guys can get something useful from this blog and continue support us.. ^^~

For my first Post i shall give u a tips for using Deep Green Queen,Arwyn





First of all is the ability:
J-Condition : Pay 3 Wind while you control 3 Resonators on your field
Condition : (Rest) Choose 1 Wind Resonator gains [+500/+500] until end of turn

if we just look this ruler ability it's kinda just and ordinary type of ruler with difficult J-Condition
but if we see the J-Ruler Form(which i will mention J-Form from now on) ,this card will be threatening your opponent.

So for the J-Form is Fairy King,Oberon




So now we have the J-Form,now we'll see the ability
Continuous : all your [elf] resonator on the field will gains [+200/+200]
Continuous : all your [elf] will gains Condition Ability: Rest,Recover target magic stone in rest position
Enter          : you may summon any number of [elf] in your hand without paying their costs

Now we all have see the ability of Fairy King,Oberon, i will discuss its ability one by one


1st ability : it's buffing all [elf] on the field,nuff said :p~

2nd ability : the ability to recover your mana stone by resting your [elf] resonator,with this u can stabilize your will as you wish and with a little mana stone if you have many [elf] resonator you can produce more will.

3rd ability : save the best for last many people said, personally i think this the best ability Oberon have,free cost for [elf] resonators? why not?everybody love free stuff  ^^~, with this ability you can summon every single [elf] you have in hand.

now if u read this post carefully i think u already imagine how this J-Form works,but i shall tell you anyway.
first of all to optimize this Ruler at the max potential u must have all [elf] deck which mean tribal deck
with all [elf] resonators and support i think this deck will do well.
now if you all remember when i discuss about Arwyn(Ruler Form,or R-Form),this Ruler can be threatening your enemy by field advantage,what i mean by field adventage is. all you need to do is summoned 3 low cost resonators early game in this case the example is Elven Battler and Forest Guardian

and if all according to plan if you have 3 wind magic stone in recover position and with the 3 low cost Resonators early game all you need to do is do the Judgment !! now R-Form turning into J-Form then the 3rd ability Triggers u can summoned all [elf] in your hand if you want, now why this can be threatening?
it's all because of this card Spirit King,Alberich





For the Ability:
Continuous : This card's ATK and DEF are added by the number of [Elf] you control, multiplied by 200.
Continuous : If you control 3 or more [Elf], this card gains <Pierce>.
Continuous : If you control 5 or more [Elf], this card gains <Target Attack>.
as you all can see with Oberon ability we can summoned this card for free without paying its will cost
so if you have this card in your field,which mean you already have another 3 [elf] resonators (hopefully and assumptions) and Oberon which is also elf so all the Alberich gains Pierce and Target Attack because you already have 5 [elf] on the field for the attack and defense let me do the calculation for you.
u have 5 [elf] so basically the attack and defense is 200 x 5 which means  [+1000/+1000] and you add it to alberich base status attack 100 and defense 500 which gain you 1100 attack and 1500 defense,that's it? of course not, Oberon 1st ability also triggers and give alberich extra [+200/+200] which mean alberich have 1300 attack and 1700 defense with Pierce and Target Attack ability, Imagine your opponent see this at 3rd turn or 4th turn possibly.
and all that calculation is IF you only summoned 1 alberich on your hand.imagine your hand full of [elf] what will happened?i guess u guys will already know.. and as i mention above IF only 1 alberich,if you have more than 1 alberich? u will OTK (One Turn Kill) your opponent next turn, it's like you already announce their death sentence :p.

Okay, so i've written my Intro,
And i know that readers won't read if there is only Intros here.

so let's start some Brainstorming.
there is this card, that is only uncommon,
that to me, can do a lot of things.


Judgement Conditions : pay 3Lights
<Continous> Your Spell : Chant and Spell : Instant cards cost 1Other less to play.

I know that you already thinking what i'm thinking. 

This card.. is simply.. 
Stunning in every factors. 
The art is good, and the effect is good.

Your Spell : Chant and Spell : Instant cards cost 1 Other less to play.

who has seen a 1Dark-cost Death kiss? or a 1Light-cost Search of a Holy Site?

i'm just saying, that having this card,
just like having a year's end discount on April.
and this card can help control decks so vigorously.

With its Judgement effect, things become better.
just tap him, and you can get 3Light wills. 
and if you can summon more Resonators to protect him,
things should go as they should.

Okay, First Thing First

Hello to all FOW players, (or i don't know what should i call them) from all around the world!

I am JoeyJY
I am currently the webmaster,
And an author of this blog.

If you see, on the right side here ----->
there are 2 Authors.
That is me, and the other one.
He should do the introduction later.
We are BOTH quite critical about some TCGs
and yes, we played so many TCG.
Starting from Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz, Magic The Gathering, World of Warcraft, CHAOS, VS, and of course, Force of Will.
We are both from Indonesia, and we have written some posts too, in our previous Yu-Gi-Oh! Blog.

And let's start this very first post of Judgement Day blog with my Intro

As we know that Force of Will (or FoW to be short)
is a very very VERY and yes, VERY WIDE TCG. not as *origin of the players*,
but the gameplay, gamestyle, the cardtype, the ruler, and many other.
we can play it in many many ways, in many style we want it to be.

FoW is..
Very deep. the depth of the skill, and combo making is highly possible between different colors.

As to those who still don't know the gameplay, it's simple.
the game starts with 4000 lifepoints per player.

how do we lose?
-the lifepoints become 0, OR you can't draw card from your deck, on your draw phase.

how do we reduce lifepoints/make opponent can't draw anymore?
-this is actually up to your tactics, whether to slice the opponents, or nuke them with spells, or you can just mill-ed them to death. yeah there is actually some deck recipes for these builds

there are very unique game systems here in FoW, in my opinion, and those are :
1. Ruler/JRuler/Judgement method
2. Magicstone deck
3. Life Breaks

1. Ruler/JRuler/Judgement method : a card that differs from any other cards in your main deck. A card that lead your whole army in your deck into wars, and the one that casts spell from your deck. this can be called as a Ruler, or simply like a Commander of your deck.

Every Rulers has their own effects. And it doesn't stop on only that. They can do Judgement.
Judgement is a process that changing your Ruler into J-Ruler.
And of course, J-Rulers have their own effects too.

2. Magistone deck : confuse playing some games that require you to put mana cards from your hand? mana screw because you're playing many colors?
well the chances are lessen here, in FoW, Magicstone (will producers) has its own deck.
Outside of the main deck, Magicstone deck consists of MAXIMUM of 20 manastone, in any colors.

How you produce Magicstone from Magicstone deck?
- In FoW, there is this system, that you can always do to produce Magicstone.
Simply by resting your Ruler/J-Ruler, after the Recovery State. If you do this, put the top of your magicstone deck, into the magicstone area on the field. Simple right?

3. Life Breaks : Each games in FoW start with 4 Lifebreaks.
Why 4 lifebreaks?
- It is because when you start the game, you start with 4000 lifepoints. and Life Breaks can be activated, when you have lifepoints that is dividable by 1000, OR LOWER.
example : with 4000 lifepoints, you can lifebreak 1, with 3000 lifepoints or lower, you can break another, with 2000 lifepoints or lower, you can break another again, and with 1000 lifepoints or lower, you can break again.

How do we play lifebreaks?
- Simply by checking from the very top Lifebreaks, and see if the card has *Break Effect* written in it, if it does, the *Break Effect* resolves, if it doesn't, the card goes to the graveyard.

How many is the maximum Lifebreaks?
- the maximum lifebreaks is 4, and it doesn't mean you can only have maximum 4000life. the life has no maxium.
